The Powerbank Light is Flashing, But It’s Not Charging

For the error where the powerbank light is flashing but the powerbank isn’t charging, based on my experience of trying several methods in the past, the best option I would recommend is to purchase a new product. However, make sure the powerbank you buy is from a reputable brand. Otherwise, you won’t get good performance from the product and will face higher costs. Quality products are long-lasting, but low-quality products have a very short lifespan, and by purchasing such products, you will be wasting your money.

Powerbank Not Charging Issue

In the past, we have worn out 3-4 powerbanks. Most of them experienced reduced usage time or battery swelling issues. However, the last product we bought has been working for years and is still functioning. The brand of this device is Duracell.

Why Isn’t the Powerbank Charging?

We can’t say it’s definitely due to one thing, but there could be one or multiple possible reasons related to the following:

1. The adapter or cable you’re using may be insufficient. Try a higher-quality adapter and cable.
2. Cable or adapter malfunctions may work for devices that require low power, but they might not work for devices that require higher power.
3. The powerbank’s charging socket may be faulty.

6. One of the devices may have temporarily gone into protection mode.
7. The powerbank’s battery may have swollen. Check for any visible changes in the product’s appearance.
8. Avoid charging another device while charging the powerbank or trying to charge from the powerbank.

Powerbank Light is Flashing

Don’t be misled by the flashing light. This light is usually an indicator showing that power is coming through. Voltage is coming from the adapter, but there may not be a warning light for the rest. This is the case in most devices.

If the powerbank light is flashing, it indicates that there is no short circuit in the device. At least here, we can assume a healthy result.

If the Powerbank Light is Flashing But Not Charging
